Hopkins Homes Builds on Success

As Hopkins Homes continues to consolidate its position as the leading East Anglian independent new homes builder, moving further into Essex and Cambridgeshire, the company has made 5 new appointments to aide their expansion.
 

Richard Green has been appointed to the Land Department as Land Manager and brings with him 15 years’ residential and commercial development management experience, including 10 years in land acquisition and, although predominately within the Eastern region, has been even further East in Chongqing, China where he was involved with an environmental engineering project.  For the past 13 years Richard has been active in organising fund raising kart racing events on behalf of RICS Lionheart – the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ benevolent fund for surveyors and their dependent families.

 
Stuart Butcher has joined our Technical Department as a Senior Technician/Project Co-ordinator  having gathered a wealth of experience as an Architectural Technician working in both private practice and the residential sector. He has also worked on various – and often challenging – projects for the CPS and MOD.
 
A further addition to the Technical team comes with the appointment of Paul Westwood who has joined as Architectural Technician having previously worked with an award-winning London based architectural practice in addition to private practices in the Essex and Suffolk counties. Paul has experience in a wide variety of high quality and demanding projects in both the residential and commercial sectors and brings with him the versatility of working with traditional and contemporary construction for new build, restoration and refurbishment work.
 
Joy Miller has stepped into the combined role of PA to Iain Jamie, Land Director in addition to providing secretarial support to the wider Land Team. In the past Joy has undertaken extensive global travel, office manager and executive assistant duties whilst supporting and accompanying her forces serving husband through which she has become a highly skilled administrator and dynamic organiser.
 
And finally, we welcome Jill Bryce who has been appointed to the position of Marketing Manager. Originally from a full service marketing agency background, Jill brings a wealth of experience and expertise across a breadth of marketing disciplines combined with a strong understanding of the newhomes sector through a variety of projects undertaken on behalf of previous clients.
