Double celebrations have taken place at Hopkins Homes, East Anglia's largest independent house builder after two of the company's site managers were chosen as NHBC's 'Pride in the Job' Quality Award Winning Site Managers for 2013.
Jamie Howe is the Site Manager at Hopkins Homes' Eastgate Rise development in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk; a select development of modern one and two bedroom apartments and elegant two, three and five bedroom homes in this historic market town, whilst Ian Jones is the Site Manager at St Andrew's Place in Kilverstone, Norfolk; a collection of traditionally crafted 3, 4, 5 & 6 bedroom family homes in a secluded wooded setting.
Only around 400 winners are selected from over 18,000 Site Managers across the UK and to boast two winners from two counties sends out a clear message to homebuyers that Hopkins Homes build homes to an exceptional standard throughout the Eastern Region.
Jamie & Ian will now go forward to the next stage of the competition, the Seal of Excellence Awards, which take place in the autumn.
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards were established in 1980 to improve quality and raise the standard of service to homebuyers. The rigorous judging takes place throughout the year and all areas of the Site Managers work are inspected; from the first dig through to the final touches and underlines the importance of excellent site management whilst recognising those individuals performing to exceptional standards.
