Hat Trick for Hopkins Homes

Triple celebrations have taken place at Hopkins Homes, East Anglia’s largest independent house builder after three of the company’s site managers were chosen as NHBC’s ‘Pride in the Job’ Quality Award Winning Site Mangers for 2012.

David Saunders is the site manager at Hopkins Homes’ Scholars’ Quarter development in Norwich, Norfolk; a highly contemporary development and recent winner of a Norwich Society Design Award whilst Neil Wilcockson is the site manager at The Martellos, a mix of modern one and two bedroom apartments and elegant two, three and five bedroom homes in the popular coastal town of Felixstowe, Suffolk. The company’s third winner is Lindsay Pitcher, who is the site manager at Miller’s Tye, Soham, Cambridgeshire, making this impressive hat trick a tri county achievement which is all the more remarkable as only around 400 winners are selected from over 18,000 Site Managers across the UK and to boast three winners from three counties sends out a clear message to homebuyers that Hopkins Homes build homes to an exceptional standard throughout the eastern region.

David, Neil and Lindsay will now go forward to the next stage of the competition, the Seal of Excellence Awards which take place in the autumn.

The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards was established in 1980 to improve quality and raise the standard of service to homebuyers. The rigorous judging takes place throughout the year and all areas of the Site Managers work are inspected; from the first dig through to the final touches and underlines the importance of excellent site management whilst recognises those individuals performing to exceptional standards.
