"The committee is very grateful to Hopkins Homes for their donation of a new kitchen"
The kitchen is central to the plans for the renovation and it's hoped that the Estate Room will become a welcoming focal point for the village. It is undergoing a major refurbishment project which, once completed, will create a welcome new social facility for the village.
So far, the committee has raised more than £70,000 and work is well underway with the external and internal renovations which are due to be completed before Christmas. This donation is in addition to the grants handed out from the Hopkins Homes Building fund which was set up last year.
The Reverend Barbara Sherlock said "The committee is very grateful to Hopkins Homes for their donation of a new kitchen."
