Stamp Duty Cut Boost for Buyers
The New Year is traditionally the time to reflect and make plans for our future, and a beautiful new home is often part of that plan; and now there are significant stamp duty savings to take advantage of says Hopkins Homes and Hopkins & Moore.
The Paddocks, in Gislingham, is an idyllic rural development from Hopkins & Moore of three and four bedroom traditionally styled new homes available from ££329,995. This would have previously attracted tax of £9,899 but has now dropped to £6,499 - a saving of £3,400. Elsewhere at Hopkins Homes St Peter's Place development in a highly desirable catchment of Ipswich, an elegant three bedroom townhouse is available at £274,995 on which £8,249 would have been payable; but that has now decreased to £3,749, generating a saving of £4,500.
Lee Barnard, Sales & Marketing Director, said: "This is fantastic news for buyers and this, together with the Government backed Help to Buy scheme and our own Assisted Move scheme, enables us to help more people make their dream new home become a reality. It's a wonderful boost for the New Year."
