Purchasing your new Hopkins Home using our Part Exchange Scheme 


Choosing to part exchange your current home provides you with the following benefits:

  • Remain in your existing home until your new Hopkins Home property is ready to move into in most cases

Once you have identified the property you would like to buy we will ask you a few simple questions about your existing property and finance. Your preferred plot is placed on hold with £1,000 reservation fee, which also holds the price and is refundable if an agreement is not subsequently reached.

We will arrange for your existing home to be valued professionally by three different independent estate agents and, providing your existing home meets the terms and conditions required for Part Exchange, we will make you an offer which will be subject to contract and necessary surveys.

Once you have accepted our offer for your existing home, we would require written confirmation within 5 working days.

Hopkins Homes will arrange for the necessary documents to be forwarded to your solicitor and thereafter the sale progresses as normal. You remain in your present property until your new home is ready and the transaction is completed.

Please Note: A minimum of a 30% differential is required between the property you wish to purchase and that which you are offering for part exchange. For example, if buying a property for £300,000, the property we take in part exchange can be worth no more than £210,000.
