Experienced Field Sales Manager

A further Field Sales Manager is required to join our existing and expanding sales team with responsibility for managing multiple developments and staff within East Anglia.

The ideal candidate will be able to motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their targets and will be able to support their staff in all aspects of their role whilst managing development exposure, market research, presentation, training and general day to day managerial matters. The successful candidate will be expected to integrate well and work as an additional conduit between head office and site.

The role requires strong IT literacy plus excellent numeracy and communication skills along with the ability to record, collate and report concisely and accurately on a regular basis.

Industry experience and a proven successful track record within a similar environment is essential and the working hours are Thursday through to Monday.

Required for developments across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex & Cambridgeshire, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a record of achievement in new homes sales, be highly motivated and a knowledge of COINS software would be an advantage.

Architectural Designer

The foundation of Hopkins Homes is based on a commitment to excellent design and quality, which reflects the tradition and character of each individual development. We are renowned for building new homes with character and individual style throughout the East Anglian region.

As part of our expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Designer. Reporting directly to the Director of Design, you who will become actively involved in a wide variety of exciting residential projects throughout East Anglia.

Essential Skills

  • A good understanding of urban design principles
  • Excellent CAD skills including the use of Photoshop
  • Freehand sketching skills
  • Ability to prepare detailed, commercially viable, feasibility sketches and studies in accordance with site brief
  • Ability to prepare and compile detailed planning application drawings including house types, site layouts and material schedules
  • Confidence to be able to take full responsibility and leadership on schemes in addition to working as part of a small dedicated team
  • Brief, instruct and coordinate external consultants as required
  • Excellent oral and visual communication skills
  • Keen to join a progressive, award winning and multi-talented design team

Desirable skills

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience working in an architectural environment
  • Experience in residential development design work preferable, although not essential, appreciation of what constitutes 'good design' is essential

GRADUATE - ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN ASSISTANT

To join our small but busy design team, working on traditional residential developments across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

The ideal candidate will have:  

Essential Skills

  • A Degree in Architectural Design & Technology
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Urban Design
  • Demonstrable Auto Cad and Photoshop skills
  • Excellent all round communication skills
  • Ability to work to design briefs on current and feasibility projects
  • Confidence and desire to develop his/her skills

 Desirable skills

  • Freehand sketching ability
  • working experience with a residential developer ideal but not essential
  • Additional Design software skills
