Key worker couple among the first to move into Mill Grove development
Key workers, Ben and Charlotte Cobbold, and their two young children were among the very first to move into their brand new home at Mill Grove in Stowmarket.
Ben and Charlotte, who both work in the healthcare industry, have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, all while looking after their children, Belle (7) and Harry (2).
The couple were planning to extend their old house to create more space for their growing family. After their home was valued at more that they anticipated, they decided to take the next step up the property ladder and purchase a brand new larger house with all the additional space they were looking for.
Ben is the Practice Manager at the nearby Woolpit Health Centre and is busy co-ordinating the practice’s Covid-19 vaccination programme whilst Charlotte is a care worker at the Bupa-run Chiltern Meadows Care Home, which is now a short walk from home.
Searching for their new family home in Suffolk during this busy time, the family quickly fell in love with Mill Grove, which launched in November 2020, with its design and craftsmanship that Hopkins Homes is renowned for.
Ben said: “When we started looking for our dream home we knew we wanted a new build property that was located in the heart of Suffolk’s countryside but still offered all the facilities and amenities we needed on a day-to-day basis. Thankfully, we have got all that and more with our Hopkins home and it really stood head and shoulders above anything else we looked at.
“Our sales consultant, Jacqui, was brilliant throughout the entire process and assisted us from our first enquiry through to the moment we collected our keys. Whether it was answering our questions, talking us through information, offering practical guidance or arranging viewings, we found that Hopkins Homes was with us every step of the way.”
Mill Grove has been developed in partnership with the Flagship Group and offers an outstanding collection of one, two, three and four bedroom new homes across a wide range of designs and styles including stylish apartments, charming cottages, contemporary three-storey townhouses and traditional family homes.
Monika Hanlon, Group Sales and Marketing Director, said: “For over three decades we have earned a reputation for delivering high quality homes and developments, with Mill Grove being no exception.
“We were thrilled to welcome the Cobbold family to our development which has been carefully designed to create a warm and spacious community for everyone, be they first time buyers, those needing more space for growing families as was the case for Ben and Charlotte or those now looking to downsize.
“Buying a home with Hopkins Homes is the start of a lasting relationship and we hope the family will be happy here for many years to come.”
Tony Tann, Managing Director of Flagship’s development company said: “We provide homes to people from all walks of life and we are delighted to welcome the first residents to Mill Grove.
“Mill Grove will also create much needed housing in Suffolk, and we’re pleased to be working in partnership with Hopkins Homes, putting us one step closer to our goal of solving the housing crisis in the East of England.”
