New Training Academy launched
We’ve done it! Our new Hopkins Homes Academy has been launched.
The aim of the Academy is to support our people with a comprehensive portfolio of training designed to establish and maintain best practice and compliance. It will provide:
- Essential, regulatory and mandatory training
- Technical, tradecraft and specialist training
- Management skills
- Development pathways and formal qualifications
Explaining the scheme, Shane Vineyard, Head of Quality Assurance & Training said: “The Hopkins Homes Academy works closely with our Human Resource programmes to promote and support a dynamic learning and working environment for staff at all levels of the business. The Academy will enable our people to achieve their full potential; our teams to deliver an exceptional and agile service; and the business to achieve its strategic ambitions.”
Shane continued: “At Hopkins Homes, we strive to create an enriching environment, where people can be at their best every day, supported by managers who care about their wellbeing and professional development.”
Each role at Hopkins Homes has been mapped out using a matrix with a comprehensive portfolio of training designed to establish and maintain best practice and compliance. The matrix benchmarks the training delivery and competency levels aligning these to national standards.
Working in-conjunction with Human Resources, a new appraisal system will help identify training plans and development pathways that align with the business’ strategic vision and requirements.
