NHQC and The Consumer Code

As a responsible developer, we are proud of our commitment to excellence. We strive to deliver exceptional service, ensuring your homebuying journey is as seamless and stress-free as possible.

To ensure we meet our stringent standards, we follow consumer codes.

By embracing these industry-leading practices, we continue to deliver distinctive new homes that inspire and exceed expectations, creating communities which you’ll be proud to call home.

The New Homes Quality Code

The New Homes Quality Code replaces the Consumer Code and supports consumers through their home buying journey.

What is the NHQC?

The NHQC is a set of robust standards that all new homes in the UK must adhere to. Developed by the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB), a not-for profit organisation, to improve the quality of new homes and customer service provided by homebuilders.

Its main purpose is to help buyers understand the level of service they should expect from their homebuilder and to highlight their consumer rights, before and after sale.

In the rare case that issues arise, the NHQC offers the option to escalate concerns to an independent New Homes Ombudsman Service.

For further information, visit the NHQB website.
