Confirm your eligibility
Check your home meets our MoveEasy Terms and Conditions
Confirm your financial status with an Independent Financial Adviser
Arrange an appointment
Meet with your Sales Consultant to complete the initial paperwork and pay a fee of £1,000.
This places your chosen plot on hold and fixes the price for you.
Home valuation
We will arrange for up to three independent agents to come and value your home and take some photographs.
Your Sales Consultant will contact you to arrange an appointment to discuss our MoveEasy marketing price and strategy to help sell your existing property fast.
Marketing your home
We will market your home for a maximum of four weeks with up to two agents, any offers made will be reported directly to Hopkins Homes for their consideration.
Accepting an offer
If Hopkins Homes accept an offer on your home, you will be invited to complete the full reservation appointment for your new home. Your £1,000 fee will now become your reservation fee.
We will begin to progress both your purchase and sale to achieve an exchange of contracts within 28 days of reservation.
You will remain in your home until your new home is ready.
Not on the MoveEasy scheme, please look at our Part Exchange or Part Exchange Plus schemes if this is something you are interested in.
If you have a preferred local agent then please let your Sales Consultant know.
The agents will be asked to inform Hopkins Homes of any offers made on your home so that we can qualify any interested parties. We do this for many reasons but mainly to reduce the risks of a chain collapsing and to guarantee the buyers can exchange and complete in line with the timeframe of your new home purchase.
Yes. You can withdraw from the MoveEasy scheme at any time before your reservation expiry date. However, should you decide to withdraw Hopkins Homes will retain a fee of £250 of your £1,000 fee for administrative costs. If you have found a buyer under the MoveEasy scheme but decide you no longer wish to purchase a new Hopkins Home, but you keep the buyer in place then you will be liable for any associated agents fees.
