HBF 5-star builder 2024

We take pride in what we do, so you can take pride in where you live.

Our philosophy of doing things the right way and not the easy way can be seen in every home we build. We care deeply about the impact of our work and the legacy we leave – creating homes and communities defined by craft, care and social responsibility. Homes that people trust and aspire to, for this generation and the next.

At Hopkins Homes, we have a responsibility and an opportunity to make our homes more sustainable. The good news is, new build homes are more energy efficient, reducing carbon emissions and saving you money. The latest ‘Watt a Save’ report by the Home Builders Federation has shown that new build homes are on average 65% more energy efficient than older houses .

All of our homes have a minimum EPC rating of B, which compares to just 5% of existing UK homes and our goal is to only get better.

We want to build better, towards a greener future.

*Data source: ‘Watt a save’ report (November 2024), the Home Builders Federation. Calculations are based on Government’s EPC registrations data of new and existing properties in the year to September 2024 and Ofgem’s October 2024 energy price cap.

Needham Market is a delightful town situated in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, 20 miles east from the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. It has a rich history and initially grew around the wool combing industry. The town’s picturesque high street is made up of an eclectic mix of buildings, boasting spectacular architectural features including the 15th Century parish church and the medieval Limes Hotel, as well as timber framed properties and grand town houses.

Needham Market is a vibrant community with a gym, two supermarkets, Post Office, library, café, public houses and a range of independent stores to meet your everyday needs including an award-winning butchers and bakery. There is also a community centre and local sports clubs in the town, including football and cricket. Needham Market is home to Bosmere Primary School as well as Needham Market Country Practice, providing a Doctors Surgery and Pharmacy.

This rural town is a haven for walkers and cyclists, providing beautiful routes along the River Gipping and around Needham Lake. The Lake not only provides play areas and picnic tables, but fantastic spots for fishing whilst nature lovers will discover a variety of wildlife including waterfowl, fish and dragonfly.

Stowmarket is located just over 3 miles away and offers supermarkets, a twice weekly market, cinema and leisure centre with swimming pool. The town is also home to The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts and the Museum of East Anglian Life – one of the biggest museums in Suffolk.

St George’s Park is ideally located within the catchment area of several OFSTED rated preschools, nurseries, primary schools and high schools. For babies and toddlers, Busy Bees Day Nursery in Stowmarket is just a nine-minute drive from St George’s Park, or in the other direction towards Sproughton, you will find the preschool Jigsaw, just a 13-minute drive away. When the little ones are ready to start school Bosmere Community Primary School is within walking distance of the development or just a short 4-minute drive or head down the B113 for 9 minutes to find Combs Ford Primary School.

The Great Eastern Main Line railway runs through the town, with Needham Market Railway Station providing frequent trains to Ipswich, just 10 minutes away, or connections to both London Liverpool Street and Cambridge.
