Hopkins Homes joins Good Homes Alliance
We’ve joined the Good Homes Alliance (GHA) as a ‘Leader Member’, to promote quality sustainable homes and communities for a healthy, low-carbon future.
The action group has over 90 members and partners, including architects, planners, developers, academia, local authorities, housing associations, product manufacturers and building professionals.
The Good Homes Alliance represents a community that supports the aim of net zero homes, primarily to improve new builds and the communities they are part of, to deliver net positive benefits – economic, social and environmental. The GHA believes that this target is achievable now and deliverable at scale.
Graeme Smith, Director of Design for Hopkins Homes explained: “The housebuilding sector has some big challenges to overcome, and we’re excited to be part of leading this change.”
“Joining the Good Homes Alliance will enable us to learn more about new products and innovations within the sector, whilst gathering essential peer feedback on our ideas and strategies” he continued.
‘Leader’ membership status will enable the housebuilder to get involved in progressive and important academic and industry research projects, whilst shaping the agenda and workstreams of the GHA.
